About us

WildlifeNL consists of a broad consortium of partners and was established as part of the Dutch Research Agenda. The aim of our project is to generate practical insights and strategies for better managing of human-animal behaviour amid increasing encounters between humans and large mammals in the Netherlands.

We do this by working closely together within the consortium, which includes various universities as well as many relevant social organisations in the field of nature management. Through direct cooperation with these parties, WildlifeNL also aims to contribute to reducing the gap between science and practice.
